Tire sizes listed in the report:
235/55/18 (+1.3 cm gain in additional ground clearance in comparison to the standard size 215/60/17)
235/60/18 (+2.5 cm gain in additional ground clearance in comparison to the standard size 215/60/17)
255/45/18 (-0.2 cm gain in additional ground clearance in comparison to the standard size 215/60/17)
255/55/18 (+2.4 cm gain in additional ground clearance compared to the standard size 215/60/17)
Other tire sizes are technically possible, of course, but might require separate testing for individual approval depending on national regulations.
Note: Due to the larger rolling circumference in conjunction with 235/60/18 and 255/55/18, the speedometer must be checked and adjusted in accordance with the specifications in the test report. From model year 10/2009 (T5.2) onwards, this can be done easily electronically via the diagnostic system. For 255/55/18, steering stop limiters must be used on the VW T5, T6, and T6.1.
