Can-Key is the fast and safe way to inductively (contactless) connect auxiliary lights on modern cars with dynamic high beams, LED high beams or similar where the high beam function is completely controlled via CAN and lacks traditional 12V/24V.
This cable is a complete auxiliary light cable with data reader, auxiliary light relay, 40A fuse and DT connector for connecting LED lights.
The DT connector's pin has a maximum load of 13A (156W at 12V) If a lightbar with higher power is to be used, the DT connector must be cut off. The rest of the cable handles a maximum of 40A.
CAN-KEY is clamped between 2 CAN cables in the engine compartment and reads these via induction. No cutting or soldering of the original cable is required, so the vehicle's data network is not affected in any way.
There is also no CAN data that can be affected as CAN-KEY only reads the data stream and is completely passively connected. This avoids all possible problems with manufacturer warranties.
