During the development of this suspension system, SEIKEL worked closely with the engineers at KW automotive. The setup was not only refined during test drives covering many thousands of kilometers, extending as far as the Tunisian Sahara, but was also fine-tuned on KW’s suspension test bench.
To save costs, the original suspension spring is reused on the front axle. The lift of approximately 40 mm is achieved by positioning the spring seat higher on the shock absorber than on the stock shock absorber. This provides more space for off-road tires and improves overall ground clearance.
The ground clearance at the rear axle is increased by Eibach springs, to which the KW dampers are precisely tuned.
When the suspension is fully compressed, the shock absorbers' rebound damping at the end stop provides additional comfort and protects the components.
The suspension is designed for comfort and offers sufficient capability for off-road use and enhanced driving safety—even when the vehicle is fully loaded.
The SEIKEL lift kit for the Volkswagen Transporter T7 (2025+) and Ford Custom V710 is compatible with L1 and L2 wheelbases, all-wheel and two-wheel drive, and all internal combustion engine variants (not hybrid or electric powertrains!).
The delivery includes all necessary mounting hardware.
An entry in the vehicle registration documents is made on the basis of a parts certificate in accordance with §19 of the StVZO.
When making an inquiry, be sure to include the vehicle identification number (VIN).
For Volkswagen vehicles equipped with IQ-Light, an additional mount for the electronic headlight leveling sensor is required. After we verify the VIN, this will be added to the quote or order as an accessory.
The expected service life of the drive shafts may be reduced by raising the vehicle's suspension!
