Description

Ironman 4x4 Load Plus Helper Springs are the perfect addition to any leaf sprung vehicle carrying variable loads. Load Plus provides a cost effective way to quickly and easily improve the load carrying characteristics of your vehicle. Perfect for trade vehicles, couriers or even the family vehicle, Load Plus allows users to progressively adjust the leaf springs of your vehicle to better manage heavy loads.

Load Plus is the most economical leaf spring upgrade available, providing the benefits of better load handling, whist enabling easy return to stock suspension characteristics when desired, and can be easily fitted at home with basic equipment.

Load Plus core value surrounds its ability to adjust your vehicles suspension characteristics up to its GVM. If you have an unladen vehicle, leave the load plus at a lower setting, add weight up to the vehicles GVM and progressively tension the Load Plus to maintain your vehicles driving characteristics and ride height by progressively stiffening the suspension.

This solution is ideal for lighter or medium-weight vans with changing loading conditions.

In the case of very heavy or maxi vans with a high load in the rear, the springs reach their capacity limits. With full preload and compression, the screw connection can come into contact with the chassis at the top. Not suitable for Hymer Grand Canyon S due to a clash with a hose from the water tank.
