Soft-close dampers for controlled slowing of the tailgate as it closes when carrying a heavy load.
These dampers are the perfect complement to our rear rack system and our reinforced gas springs. This ensures that the tailgate closes gently and in a controlled manner, even when carrying a heavy load.
Compatible with the tailgate of the Ford Transit Custom / Tourneo Custom V710 (2024 and later) and the New Transporter (2025 and later).
The shock absorbers are high-quality industrial shock absorbers manufactured in Germany. They are made entirely of stainless steel. The oil filling is optimized for temperatures ranging from -10° to +70°C.
The components are adhered to the D-pillar above the taillights and to the tailgate. Special adhesive pads are provided on the components. No modification of the body parts (such as drilling) is required.
All parts necessary for installation, as well as detailed installation instructions, are included in the package.
If the tailgate is unloaded, it must be pressed shut over the last few centimeters.
