For use with significantly wider tires, rims with lower offset or in combination with wheel spacer
The fender flares or wheel arch extensions are attached to the existing holes using dowel clips and screws. No drilling is necessary. Mounting hardware is included.
Installation is easy and takes just 5 minutes per wheel. The extensions also serve as splash guards and mud flaps. Parts can be painted, but can also be used as they are. Suitable for all Ducato III, Jumper II, Boxer II Type 250 (X250/X290) models built from 2006 to the present. These wheel arch extensions are the most stable on the market and the only ones that do not require registration. Further optimized from May 2025.
The registration-free wheel arch extensions are required (Germany and others) for wider rims. E.g. Borbet, MAK, Delta, etc. or also for wheel spacers.
Installation note: Since May 2025, we have been using optimized, stiffer, and slightly more dimensionally stable material. For installation, the parts must be bent slightly into the wheel arch: Advantage: Better hold even under the influence of temperature! Especially in the upper area of the front fender flares.
Mud flaps for motorhomes: Owners of semi-integrated motorhomes in particular are familiar with the problem: the bodywork becomes heavily soiled by dirt kicked up by the wheels. Small stones also often damage the surface. Mudguard extensions provide a remedy.
Do you already use classic mud flaps on the lower wheel arches? In principle, mud flaps can be used in combination with our mudguard extensions without any problems. In some cases, it may be necessary to adjust the mud flaps. These should then be cut out with a craft knife in the overlap zone of the mudguard extension.
Use with factory-fitted wheel spacers
The wheel spacers can be fitted to Maxi chassis, but this may require drilling a few holes in the wheel spacers and in the factory-fitted plastic wheel spacers from below. Please use special rivets for fastening.
Also suitable for vehicles with factory-fitted wheel arch extensions
A spacer is required for vehicles manufactured from 2024 onwards that are equipped with side distance sensors (parking assistant). We can supply this on request. Please leave a note in the comments field when placing your order!
