Compatible with the Mercedes Sprinter (W907/W910), Lazer’s Fog Light Upgrade Kit features a pair of Carbon-2 ‘DRIVE’ LED lights elevating the Sprinter’s lighting capabilities to deliver a dynamic, safer, more enjoyable night driving experience. Supplied pre-mounted into left-hand / right-hand lamp holders, on the one-hand the Carbon-2 lamps deliver a supplemental high beam driving light, and at the flick of a switch, a supplemental yellow dipped beam light output (for off-road use). The lamp holders themselves feature Lazer’s grain texture finish, which give the kits a rugged and tough appearance, without needing to be additionally painted.
With a combined 6,240 raw lumens (high beam mode), the Carbon-2 lights bring cutting edge motorsport tech to the road and off-road. Recent upgrades to the lamps allow for: a UNECE Reg 149 approved (Class B, E-Ref 12.5) driving light function for additional high beam performance, an ‘off-road’ dipped beam function (in yellow light) that helps cut through adverse weather conditions such as fog, dust, or rain. In addition, white and amber backlight functions are included with the lamps (the customer is able to set which colour they want to use, by programming the backlight function during installation).
The appeal and relevance of the Sprinter Fog Light Upgrade kit is furthered by versions of the kit for vehicles with, and without, OE fog lights. In the case of vehicles with OE fogs, the supplied lamp holders can be retrofitted in the spaces vacated by removing the original fog lamps (please note – the corner lighting function is not retained when upgrading to this kit). As an upgrade for vehicles without the original fog lights, within the upgrade kit we supply cutting templates that facilitate the fit and fitment of the lamps, alongside a plug and play wiring kit.
For vehicle’s with LED headlights, it will be necessary to utilise Lazer’s market-leading CANNY solution. A Smart Button can also be used, which can then activate the Dip mode on the lamps in case of adverse conditions.
