The price refers to a pair of gas springs!
*The specifications refer to an ambient temperature of 20°C. At higher temperatures the gas springs can lift more load, at lower temperatures the extension force and thus the possible payload decreases.
**Note: according to Volkswagen, the maximum permissible load is 50 kg.
