This tough 4x4 rim is aimed at real off-road freaks who drive their equipment through scree, mud, sand and dirt and don't handle it with kid gloves. The design of the Dakar follows a classic line and therefore fits perfectly on many off-road vehicles. The rim is easy to clean with a high-pressure jet or a sponge, which is usually necessary after long tours. Tough and puristic, the 4x4 wheel is designed for high loads and has a special surface seal. Stylish center caps are included or can be ordered as an option.
The load capacity of the rims and tires is a central issue, especially for campers and all related vehicles. With the new "Camper wheel", DOTZ focuses on the VW Bulli T5/T6. Tire size 235/70R16 is also permitted for even more ground clearance.
Possible permissible tire sizes for VW T5/6 depending on the variant and under certain conditions according to the TUV report:

Fits only on vans with the "small" 16 inch brake system and not on vans with the "big" 17 inch brakes!
