The adapter frame is mounted between the installation frame (e.g., from Dometic MIDI-HEKI/Style, Remis, etc.) and the roof panel. The frame compensates for the roof struts and the convex roof panel. This creates a horizontal and straight installation situation for mounting the roof hood.
This lays the foundation for tension-free and therefore permanently sealed roof hood installation.
