This small widening /flare is intended for different application and fits also for smaller vans or vans with limited installation space

This is the dimension the item will take when laid flat on the vehicle.
The cut-out dimension in the vehicle can be 60.8 cm/59.4 cm x 33 cm or smaller (due to the circumferential 2 cm wide mounting shoulder)
Circumferential adhesive and screw shoulder 20mm. Mounting holes for screws or rivets depending on the installation situation freely selectable.
The parts are made of GRP with white gelcoat RAL 9010 (paintable)

The problem
Many tall van drivers know the problem. The advantages of a compact van come at the expense of the length of the bed in the rear of the vehicle. Or there is simply always a lack of sufficient storage space.
The solution!
The solution is "transverse sleeping". For this purpose, the GRP widening jaws also called ears were developed for mounting on the rear side panels, the driver and/or passenger side.
This makes for a great feeling of space in the rear! With transverse bed layouts, customers finally get enough length for a relaxed sleep. The possible cut-out dimensions allow a great deal of leeway for insulation, trim and help enormously in making the best use of space.
Visually, the widening does not need to hide either. The installation is possible on the right and left. In the direction of travel on the right, if necessary, with a corresponding door stopper or by modified mounting "pushed from the inside to the outside".
Important: The mounting is done by an inward cranked adhesive and mounting shoulder on the side panel. Thus the assembly takes place invisibly! The extension part is fastened with 1K-PU adhesive and M6 screws or rivets. This allows maximum flexibility in the choice of the actual sheet metal cutout. Just stay within the range of the maximum cutout, taking into account your floor plan or furniture construction.
Relevant depending on the country: The extensions are delivered with a "splitter certificate". The splitter certificate from TÜV Rheinland is assigned to the part body and is not vehicle-specific. The widening is delivered with detailed papers and a sample certificate.
The assembly!
The part attachment can be mounted even by private customers with manual skills.
Transfer the cutout to the vehicle, then drill fixing holes and insert the cutout defined by you. Place the widening over the internal and thus invisible adhesive or mounting shoulder, tighten the twelve M6 fixing screws, pull off excess adhesive and the assembly is done.
The insulation should be done with 10mm extreme insulator. The trim is done individually in the interior design of the vehicle. Velour has proven itself here.
The extensions are available ready for installation in visible gelcoat pure white (RAL 9010). The glossy gelcoat is UV-stable and can be repolished at any time.
Painting on the visible gelcoat is of course also possible. Please contact your local painter for more information.
